Carga Máxima
Carga Máxima is an art and design studio founded in 2014 by Azucena Cabezas León and Alinder Espada Camones in Peru. Since then, they have dedicated themselves to exploring the graphic culture of their country on a more complex platform. Their work has gained international attention through "El Taller de Letreros," where they revolutionize the popular signs displayed throughout cities. These signs advertise fresh products and novelties and tell genuine stories of joy, resilience, and color. They have brought new expertise to art lettering and compelling graphic storytelling.
Their projects include murals for brands like Louis Vuitton, urban space interventions in Lima, Peru, and exhibitions in prestigious venues such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lima. "Art exists so that reality does not destroy us," the duo declares. With a diverse portfolio of clients, talks, training workshops, and exhibitions, Azucena and Alinder show that the art of words reaches beyond boundaries and is deeply embedded in the DNA of their entire region.
