Between Peru and France, Christi Sari combines the delicate virtues of watercolor artwork with the permanence of graphic design, the possible worlds of digital art illustration, and the impact of mural painting. Since the beginning, she has worked with essential brands that testify to the citizen-of-the-world character in her work: the Alliance Française, the Museum of Natural History UNMSM of Peru, and the Faber Castell firm. Her work also explores other formats, such as video and audio, and flirts with dance.
As a specialist in communications, formats are just excuses that Christi Sari uses to let an incredible universe of color and theatricality flourish. After 2020, her arrival in France made her rethink her entire identity system, finding new meaning in who she was in painting, "turning it into a bridge to her essence." A new version of her had been born. She reflects on it: "Migration implies letting an identity die, but it gives way to a new one… a process of formation and evolution.
